Samādhikusalà Foundation (SkF) a not for profit organisation,
a company limited by guarantee established in 2022, conducts activities and practices for the preservation and propagation of Buddha’s teachings.

How We Came to Be
Established in 2022, Samadhikusala Foundation is a non-profit that derived from the organisations Nirodha Retreats Worldwide (2010) and Nirodha Trust (1998).
Renunciation
Senior practitioners have the choice of renunciating from lay life and join the Order of male and female ordained Sangha.
Male Ordination: Samanera Attakusala was given Pabbaja ordination on January 6, 2025. He is currently undergoing the novice training.
Female Ordination: First ordination will occur in India on November 15, 2025.

How We Are Funded
Samādhikusalà Foundation is not funded by any organisations, philanthropists or grants. All our activity is solely funded by donations from practicing meditators and Buddhist devotees. Donating is also observed as a means to practice generosity which is an indispensable quality for meditation.

Holding the copyrights of the teachings of Samadhikusala Thero and holding the rights for the childhood chantings of Dhammaruwan.

Holding the role of supportive committee (Dayaka Sabhava) for the Vihara at the Meditation Centre.
