About Conveniently located in Colombo, the Meditation Centre is easily accessible from the city and surrounding suburban areas. It primarily serves working professionals and city residents, offering a wide range of meditation programs to support their well-being.
Monastic Dwelling The Meditation Centre currently houses three resident monastics. As a Theravāda Buddhist vihāra, it provides accommodation for the Bhikkhu Sangha, who live in accordance with the Vinaya (monastic discipline). Accordingly, residential facilities are exclusively available to ordained male monastics.

Progress and Development The Meditation Centre consists of a meditation hall and a communal kitchen for the use of resident yogis. The upper floor houses the monastic residence. Future development plans include the construction of a shrine room and a dāna śālāwa (alms hall), where meals can be offered to the resident monastics. The Centre's growth and development are made possible entirely through the generosity of practicing yogis and devotees. We receive no funding or sponsorship from government, public, or private institutions and rely solely on voluntary donations to support our activities and ongoing development.
