...to be trained in Meditation; Guidance is necessary Samadhikusala Thero 940611999

meditation practice. It enables practitioners to develop right understanding, refine their practice, and overcome obstacles that naturally arise along the path. At appropriate stages of training, teachers provide guidance tailored to each trainee's experience and progress. Although practitioners can independently benefit from reading Buddhist texts or listening to Dharma talks, personal meditation guidance is far less accessible. Because it is based on a practitioner's actual meditation experience and offered by an experienced teacher, it is considered one of the most valuable forms of support a meditator can receive. Individual meditation guidance is available in two forms: Online Meditation Guidance – A teacher reviews the trainee's meditation report and provides personalised guidance and recommendations based on the reported practice and experiences. One-on-One Meditation Guidance – On rare occasions, a trainee may have the opportunity to receive personal, face-to-face guidance directly from a teacher. This form of guidance allows for deeper discussion and individualised instruction tailored to the practitioner's specific needs.
